The heart of the Simplus Enterprise
Suite is a robust data warehouse
architecture which supports the
integration of numerous data sources.
This multi-source integration (banking,
wealth management, credit card, etc.)
allows the credit union to have one main
source for all operational and strategic
reporting across the organization. The
data warehouse has been designed using
recognized data warehouse best practices
which are based on the
Ralph Kimball methodologies. The
Simplus Data Warehouse allows the credit
union to perform robust product, member,
and transactional reporting and
analysis. It will not only replace many
of the reports available through the
core systems, but greatly expand on them
with many additional fields, faster
querying capability, time based
analysis, and a true consolidated member
view.
Information within the Simplus Data
Warehouse is delivered to end users
using a variety of methods including
dashboards, OLAP cubes, reports, and customized web
interfaces. The delivery technology is
entirely Microsoft based, including
Microsoft Reporting Services, Microsoft
Analysis Services, Microsoft Office, and
ASP.NET web interfaces. Many of these
technologies are already owned by the
Credit Union which, in many cases, results in
reduced software licensing costs.
